Springmakers manufacture a wide a variety of wireforms/shapes to our customers' exact specific requirements. Our full design and prototyping service allows the time between initial conception to working product to take only a matter of hours. The range of products and materials is virtually limitless.
Typically we can work with mild steel up to 16mm, to include reinforcing bar products for heavy industry. Spring steel and stainless steel is dependant upon shape complexity, but previously we have made items up to 12.7mm in material diameter. Brass, bronze and beryllium copper are also a specialty.
For accurate and valid quotation please use our email or fax facility to send either a drawing or rough sketch of the product, or alternatively send a sample for our inspection.
Various plating and finishes can be applied to improve resistance to adverse environments:
- Zinc Plate (Yellow/silver etc)
- Nylon Coatings (e.g. Xylan)
- Delta Tone/Seal
- Powder-coating in any colour
- Light Oil Coating
